The cover letter should include contact information, including a mailing address. This information will be used to send your contributor copies if you are accepted for publication.
Offer a fifty-word biography in third-person. Keep it short and engaging.
We are looking for all kinds of speculative fiction with literary twists! That means we are looking for fiction with a “What if?” at its center, along with realistic characters, or at least characters we can like and even love.
We publish short-form fiction with lengths between 500 and 20,000 words.
All published short-form writing is published on Free Radicals' Website and within the magazine's print and eBook/PDF form. The print and eBook/PDF forms are published four times per year.
We are also looking for artwork/photography that is print-/eBook-ready. Art must be centered on speculative (fiction) themes.
If you have any questions about submitting to Free Radicals, please reach out to the Editor-in-Chief, G. Michael Rapp, at freeradicalszine@gmail.com.
If you submit, please make sure you've read our Submissions page before submitting anything to us.
So, I've been hard at work putting together the first cover for Free Radicals. This cover, with some minor revisions, will be used for Issue 001. —G. Michael Rapp, Editor-in-Chief for Free Radicals
